My career has moved steadily up the stack. It started with hands-on network, Linux and Windows administration at UNDP, then Linux engineering and platform operations at IPsoft, where I turned standard operating procedures into automated remediation.
From there I moved into DevOps at Velo Payments, deploying AWS infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible, and then into cloud infrastructure engineering at Discover Financial Services. There I built and ran Terraform, Terraform Enterprise, Kubernetes/OpenShift and CI/CD for fintech workloads.
Today I work at the principal level on the enterprise automation platform. I lead platform upgrades, design self-service provisioning, drive security remediation and cost optimization, and review architecture and code for a 15-engineer platform team.
My work stays hands-on. I write the pipelines and playbooks, carry the on-call pager, and treat production reliability, security and maintainability as design inputs rather than afterthoughts.
